Easter Weekend Forecast for the Chicago Area: Chance for Rain

Easter weekend will be a bit of a weather roller coaster in the Chicago area.

While Friday saw plenty of sunshine and temps in the 40s, it appears conditions could be wet for part of the holiday.

Temperatures will likely warm into the upper 50s with partly sunny skies Saturday, though there is a chance for a few spotty showers during the late afternoon and evening hours.

Easter Sunday is expected to stay mostly cloudy with temps only reaching into the mid- to upper-40s. Occasional rain showers are likely, especially in areas south of Chicago and in northwest Indiana.

Conditions for much of the Chicago area should stay breezy and cool.

Temperature highs are forecast to return to the upper-50s by Tuesday, reaching into the 60s by mid-week. The chance for rain returns later in the week.
