Oh, deer!

Six deer in Salt Lake City got into a bind when they became trapped on thin ice.

Joe Timber, a Utah Parks and Recreations officer, suited up and attached himself to 500-feet of rope for the daring rescue.

He managed to pull four of the deer to safety, albeit exhausted.

The two remaining deer were in too dangerous a place to be rescued. They are being watched, in hopes that they wander in to solid ground on their own.
