No Serious Injuries in Rollover LSD Crash, Police Say

    A Nissan SUV and Land Rover were both traveling south on Lake Shore Drive near Monroe after 9 p.m. Tuesday when the two vehicles side-swiped each other, police said. (Published Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015)

    No major injuries were reported after a rollover crash involving three vehicles occurred on Lake Shore Drive downtown Tuesday night, police said.

    A Nissan SUV and Land Rover were both traveling south on Lake Shore Drive near Monroe when the two vehicles side-swiped each other at about 9:20 p.m., police said.

    One of the two vehicles then hit an Infiniti G35 that was trying to turn south on to Lake Shore Drive from Monroe, police said.The driver of the Nissan, a 36-year-old woman, and the driver of the Land Rover, a 63-year-old woman, were both taken to Northwestern Hospital, police said.

    Their injuries were not serious, police said.

    The driver of the Infiniti refused medical treatment, police said. No citations will be issued in the crash.
