Man Seriously Injured in Crash With Parked Cars

Man, 31, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn

A 31-year-old man was in serious condition early Monday after his car crashed into four parked vehicles in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood.

The man was driving south about 2:45 a.m. when his vehicle crashed into a parked car, which then crashed into several other cars in the 9900 block of South State, police said, citing preliminary information.

The driver was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.

It was unclear as of 5:30 a.m. if drugs, alcohol played a factor or if any citations would be issued.
