Rollover Crash Blocks Lanes of Borman Expressway

Three eastbound right lanes of Interstate 80/94 in Northwest Indiana were closed early Thursday after a rollover crash involving a tractor-trailer.

The truck pulling two trailers was on its side on the Borman Expressway near Burr Street at about 5:15 a.m., an Indiana State Police official told NBC Chicago.

Officials said the truck, owned by Conway Freight of Richmond, Indiana, jackknifed and rolled when trying to avoid a 2001 Dodge Caravan that was changing lanes.

All lanes were cleared and reopened to traffic by 7:45 a.m.

No injuries were reported and it was immediately unclear as to what the truck was hauling.
