NB Lake Shore Drive Closed After 2 Crashes

Two crashes on NB Lake Shore Drive have caused all traffic to be diverted to the Stevenson Expressway.

Northbound traffic on South Lake Shore Drive at 31st Street is being diverted to the Stevenson Expressway ramps.
The first crash happened around 6:30 a.m. at 31st St. when two cars collided, and a second crash happened at 23rd St. minutes later.
At 8:10 a.m., traffic was still severely backed up.
No word on injuries.
