Runaway Costs for Airport Runways

De-icing runways at O'Hare is going to cost the city of Chicago up to $18.5 million more this year.

It's going to be an expensive winter at O'Hare and Midway Airports.

The Chicago's Aviation Department is saying the cost of de-icing solution has gone up and the bill for keeping runways clear could reach $18.5 million.

The city reportedly has enough for both airports, but the costs were three times higher than last year.
