Some United Airlines customers are now eligible for expedited screening at O'Hare Airport, the Transportation Security Administration announced Wednesday.

Members of the airline's frequent flier program are eligible to apply for the Transportation Security administration's Pre-Check program.

Pre-Check began at O'Hare for selected American Airlines customers in March.

The program allows qualifying, pre-screened passengers to undergo screening that could no longer include procedures such as removal of shoes and belts, taking laptops out of bags, and removal of light outerwear and jackets.

The TSA plans to add US Airways and Delta Air Lines to the program at O'Hare.

The TSA notes even under the Pre-Check program it will continue to incorporate random and unpredictable security measures.
