All westbound lanes of the Indiana Toll Road were shut down for near Chesterton for several hours Friday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash involving a state trooper and a semi truck.
Police said the accident happened just before 1:30 p.m. near mile maker 32 and involved a state trooper, a semi-truck and several other vehicles.
No major injuries were reported, according to Indiana State Police Toll Road District 21.
All lanes on the roadway were reopened by 4:30 p.m.
