    At least five people were injured Wednesday following a multi-vehicle accident on the inbound Skyway at 69th Street.

    At least five vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened shortly at about 4:30 p.m. and completely stalled traffic.

    Authorities say that three of the injured were in critical condition, including a child. The other two were listed in good condition.

    A semi-trailer appeared to have jacknifed at the scene. Two other cars received extensive damage, and the front of an SUV was pinned under the back of another semi-trailer.

    Emergency crews used the jaws of life to extract an adult and child from one of the vehicles.

    The inbound Skyway was shut down for several hours.
