Illinois State Police said Colon was driving south on I-94 in a white Audi when his vehicle rear-ended a Chevy truck. The crash happened just before 2 a.m. near Touhy Avenue in Skokie

The impact caused both vehicles to lose control, veer off the road and land in the ditch, police said.
