Chicago Gas Prices Keep Climbing

The windy city now has the highest gas prices in the country, according to AAA.

Gas prices in the Chicago area continue to rise and make headlines.

Regular unleaded gas hit an all-time high in March in the city, with a jump of 52 cents last month, and 86 cents since the beginning of the year, according to AAA.

AAA reports the highest price was recorded on March 27, clocking in at $4.68.

Prices are expected to keep rising into May as gas stations switch over to the more expensive summer blend.

The average cost for a gallon of gas in Chicago is currently $4.652, according to AAA.
