A CTA driver and a passenger are recuperating following a bus crash in Logan Square Friday morning.

It happened shortly before 9 a.m. near Diversey and Kedzie.

Officials believe the bus driver may have had a medical emergency, causing him to lose control and veer into a laundromat. The bus continued to careen down the street hitting and damaging as many as 21 parked cars on the street.

The driver and a female passenger were transported to area hospitals. Their conditions were not released.
