From August 24 - September 6, Water Tower Place will transform into a fashionista’s dream during The Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival.
The 14-day event series will feature an abundance of style-savvy events and sales throughout select stores on Michigan Avenue, but make sure you save time for a trip to the Fashion Lounge inside Water Tower, which will feature a series of special events ranging from styling workshops, and fashion shows, to hair, makeup, skincare and even cooking demonstrations (yes, chic cooking!).
Score special offers from retailers like Bare Escentuals and bebe, when you visit the lounge, located on the seventh floor of Water Tower Place, and enter a raffle for a chance to win a $500 Water Tower Gift card.
The lounge will also be offering $10 gift cards with the donation of a gently used women’s clothing item or accessory to the Dress for Success program.
Other fun festival events include an appearance by Kelly Osborne, who will help kick off the Running of the Heels, a 60-yard sprint in high heels (two inches or higher) along a red carpet on Pioneer Court. Racers will run to win five pairs of shoes or heels, and both men and women are welcome to compete.
