Michigan Avenue has had its fair share of splashy openings recently, from Victoria's Secret, to Zara, to Michael Kors, but now comes the long-awaited arrival of eBay. Sort of.
The online shopping behemoth will take up some space along the Magnificent Mile (400 N. Michigan Ave.) on Tuesday and Wednesday in the form of the eBay Mobile Boutique.
eBay experts will be on hand to preview products, but more importantly, they'll be giving away money! Well, eBay money.
The first 100 people to show up at noon on Wednesday and share a secret password, available here, will get a $50 eBay Gift Card.
eBay's Style Director, Constance White, will also be available to provide guests with fashion tips, and hopefully, some tips on how to make sure some other shopper doesn't outbid you at the last minute.
The mobile boutique will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Chicago is the first stop in a 12-city tour for the boutique.
