One local Chicago designer is making a name for herself in the world of fashion by scoring a deal to sell her goods at Anthropologie.
Designer Elise Bergman, a Chicago-based clothing designer with a focus on high-end, handmade, eco-conscious women's apparel and custom bridal, has just announced on her blog that she is designing new styles and stitching up accessories for Anthropologie.
The piece that will be making its debut in the store is a headband called “Tress A Tangle,” that can be purchased online or in stores in colors like dark grey , moss and plum. The headband -- accented with a bundle of abstract rosettes and hand-wrapped, is one of many pieces the designer and her team has been working on.
“We have been hard at work designing new styles and stitching up accessories for the store,” Bergman
says on her blog
. “Get 'em while they're hot!”
The headbands can be purchased for $34 online
or in stores. And while we buy these all up, we look forward to what else she’ll be whipping together going forward.
