Consider it a shoelry red alert. As in shoes and jewelry. In one place.

À Pied, Roscoe Village’s only shoe boutique, made us drool like a St. Bernard over its first jewelry trunk show.

It all goes down August 14, when the store will be flooded with pieces by Chicago-based designer Jodi Rae. So when you're perusing À Pied’s sexy shoes from North American and European lines like Taryn by Taryn Rose, Biviel, Hispanitas, La Canadienne, All Black, Jeffrey Campbell, Ilse Jacobsen and Frye, you can accessorize your new heels with jewelry.

Designs to be featured by Rae include unique and rare stones set in sterling silver; prices range from $49-349 and include earrings, necklaces and chic rings.

All the jewelry and accessories will be a cool 20-percent off during the trunk show, and if you can’t resist a pair of pumps, you’ll get 20 percent off those too (with a jewelry purchase). All that, and they’ll even serve you wine and apps while you shop.
