We sleep in every Black Friday, don't have a Sam's Club membership, and have never seen the inside of a Filene's Basement.

The store is moving next May, and to clear their inventory, they're already offering discounts on art, frames (only ready-made), candles and other gifts. It's a great place to pick up a few presents.
They also do all their framing in-house - so if you're going the sentimental route for Mom's gift this year (framing that old black and white of her wedding day, perhaps?) They'll work with you to get it just perfect.
