Opening Date Set for Mag Mile Best Buy

The new Best Buy gives downtown dwellers a convenient spot to pick up their electronics -- not to mention music and movies.

Next month you'll be able to shop for all your new gadgets on the Magnificent Mile when a new Best Buy store opens in the John Hancock Center.
Crain's reported Wednesday that the store will hold its grand opening on May 16.
At 30,000 square feet, it'll be the second-largest retail tenant in the building behind the Signature Room restaurant on the 95th floor, according to Crain's.
Best Buy will occupy the first-floor space previously occupied by retailer Paul Stuart.
