Top THAT Trump!

Spire installed on Trump Tower Saturday after wind delays

It appears Trump Tower will finally reach the heights it's wanted to since construction began on the 92-story building in Chicago.

Donald Trump now has a spire atop his Chicago luxury high-rise building thanks to helicopter and construction crews.

A helicopter flew the spire to the top of the building in downtown Chicago on Saturday and ironworkers bolted the steel pieces in place. The Trump International Hotel and Tower stands at 1,361 feet tall. That's about 90 feet shorter than Chicago's famous Sears Tower.

Pedestrians on Michigan Avenue looked on from below.

In all it took four hours and fifteen minutes for the spire to be erected. The successful operation was one of several tries to install the spire. High winds foiled the other attempts.
