HGTV Giving Away $750K Apartment in Trump Tower

'Urban Oasis' show to premiere Aug. 27

HGTV's "Urban Oasis" show is giving away an apartment in the Trump International Hotel and Tower to one lucky Chicago winner.

The 1,000 square-foot apartment, located on the 35th floor of the tower, is worth more than $750,000. The one-bedroom space with one-and-a-half bathrooms will come fully furnished.

Chicagoans can enter to win the apartment starting Aug. 18 on hgtv.com.

"From the spectacular city views to the building's world-class amenities, we think HGTV viewers will enjoy witnessing the unparalleled living arrangements available to owners at Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago," said Ivanka Trump, executive vice president of development and acquisitions at the Trump Organization, in a statement.

HGTV's Vern Yip was in charge of the interior decorating for the apartment, which includes all local furnishings. Renovation on the space began April 24.

"This homage to Chicago showcases an easy juxtaposition of old and new that is representative of the city," Yip said in a statement.

The new owner of the apartment will get to enjoy views of the Chicago River and Michigan Avenue from their cozy spot in the skyline, and have access to the tower's spa, fitness center, pool and restaurant.

The show will premiere on HGTV Aug. 27, representing the second season of "Urban Oasis."
