Use Your Noodle on National Spaghetti Day

Angelina Ristorante Cooks Up Oodles of Noodles for National Spaghetti Day

Did you know that Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009 is National Spaghetti Day? Us either. Well, now that you do, book your reservations for Angelina Ristorante, and celebrate spaghetti's big day with an Italian-style feast.

The popular Lakeview trattoria will offer three different spaghetti dishes created by chef Fred Ramos to commemorate the pasta-obsessed occasion. Choose from spaghetti with mussels and zucchini ($17), spaghetti with jumbo shrimp and black olives ($20), or classic baked spaghetti and meatballs with mozzarella cheese and garlic bread ($17). Or don't choose -- Angelina's spaghetti-centric menu will be served for dinner from Sunday, Jan. 4 through Thursday, Jan. 8, so you'll have time to try them all.

Pair your pasta with one of Angelina's other ongoing promotions, such as half-price bottles of wine on Monday, a $27 prix-fixe menu on Tuesday (featuring any appetizer, entree and dessert), or come in on Wednesday for "neighborhood night." Lakeview residents and their guests receive a 20 percent discount on the entire bill.
