Martini Park (151 W. Erie) is bringing swanky back with its new Speakeasy Tuesdays.
The River North "playground for grownups" is going back in time with live performances from the swing band "Big City Swing."
The performances kick off at 7 p.m., but at 8 p.m., dancers and experts from Galaxy Dance School will offer guests swing dance lessons, so when the band takes the stage again, you can practice what you've just learned.
If you're more of a voyeur, sample Martini Park's new full dinner menu or one of the featured throwback cocktails such as the Dirty Martini, The Classic G&T and the Park Sidecar for $7 each.
The Cocktail Hour Food Menu is also available from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. featuring bites from $5 - $8 such as Shrimp Cocktail, Buffalo Chicken Lollipops and the Martini Park Slideshow.
So bring out the hats, shine up the shoes and bring your rhythm, because this is one night when preening like a peacock is a good thing.
