Does a Top Chef have the chops to beat an Iron Chef?
We'll find out next month when Chicago's Stephanie Izard competes on "Iron Chef America."
Izard, chef/owner of Girl & The Goat, will match up against Iron Chef Michael Symon on August 26 on the Food Network show. The battle incorporates a secret ingredient and pits world-class chefs against a rotating crew of Iron Chefs that includes the likes of Bobby Flay, Mario Batali and Cat Cora.
Izard remains the only woman to win Bravo's Top Chef, taking home the crown in Season 4.
