District Bar could lay claim to being LeBron James' favorite Chicago hangout.
Earlier this year, James and his merry Cavaliers crew stopped by the River North bar/restaurant twice in three weeks, so management has launched a four-week "Do Chicago" campaign, and effort to help lure the hoops star to the Bulls.
District is offering weekly specials over the next month dedicated to all of the food and drinks the hoops star ordered during his visits:
- June 7th: Half-price Southwestern Turkey Burgers and $6 Grey Goose cocktails.
- June 14th: Half-price District Chopped Salads and $5 mimosas.
- June 21st: Half-price Southwestern Turkey Burgers and $5 Malibu drinks.
- June 28th: All of the above specials for four days leading up to July 1, the day James officially becomes a free agent.
Not that James will need a discount on food if he chooses Chicago, but it's the thought that counts.
