Introducing the Name Your Own Cocktail Contest

You've no doubt been in one of those bars where a regular customer gets his name on the wall for accomplishing some major feat, usually involving drinking massive amounts of alcohol.

But District Bar's offering another chance at immortality that involves using your brain and not your gullet.

The River North hot spot has launched a contest to name a cocktail on their new menu.

For the next month, each customer will receive a tasting of the following concoction when they receive their bill:

• Absolut Raspberri Vodka, Domaine de Canton ginger liquer and sour mix shaken with fresh raspberries, strained into a cocktail glass and garnished with a raspberry mint sprig shrew.

Guests can fill out a card with their suggested name and the winning title will be featured on District's menu and the winner can choose to either guest bartend for an evening or have their name printed alongside their beverage.
