A new Mrs. Fields location in Chicago is offering free cookies for a day.
The store, located at 242 S. State St., celebrates its grand opening Thursday with a free cookie or a 16-ounce latte. The cookies and lattes will be sold for 99 cents the rest of the weekend.
The store also has live entertainment from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, and a ribbon cutting was held earlier in the morning.
The store will offer the free cookies until 9 p.m. Thursday.
