A Wrigleyville favorite is moving its way downtown.

Moe's Cantina River North, located at 155 W. Kinzie St., is scheduled to open Thursday night at 8 p.m. The bar/restaurant has been ready for some time, but the opening was delayed by issues with the liquor license.

The 25,000-square-foot space previously housed an antiques gallery, and is similar to it's sister location, but offers upscale extras like a handcrafted cocktail list, international wines and a mezzanine level with a private dining room.

Lunch service begins immediately and brunch service will kick in later this month with a menu described as Mexican fare with Spanish and South American influences.

The team behind Moe's also owns John Barleycorn, Griffin Lounge and Social Twenty-Five.
