River North sports bar Bull & Bear (431 N. Wells) is encouraging Chicagoans to put down the tongs this weekend and head over there for your barbeque fix.
Executive Chef David Blonsky will be firing up the grill for an event they're calling the BBQ on the Bullpen.
It's a different take on traditional BBQ favorites, with dishes like Prickly Pear BBQ Pork Tenderloins, Chipotle BBQ Chicken and Peel & Eat BBQ Shrimp skewers and Wild Boar Burgers.
Complimentary watermelon will be offered all day, and guests can also sample the new summer cocktail menu.
