Do not adjust your computer screen. It's Christmas in July time!

Do you know someone who starts celebrating the holidays immediately following Halloween? Well, Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club, the cheeky dining and drinking destination in Lakeview, will do them one better. Kit Kat will be pulling out all the stops to commemorate Christmas in July from Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26, letting us all mark the holiday season twice this year.

If you really love Christmas, you're going to really love this seasonally mixed-up soiree. While the weather this weekend hovers around the 80-degree mark, inside Kit Kat, it will be a full-on winter wonderland. Picture, if you will: glitzy holiday decor, the famous "Kit Kat Divas" performing Christmas carols, themed movies and music, and presents for holiday-obsessed guests.

Mixologists donning misteltoe will be bearing winter-themed alcoholic gifts, such as the too-good-to-only-serve-once-a-year "Frosty's Goin' Down!" (a mixture of Vox vodka, DeKuyper Vanilla liqueur and housemade marshmallow puree, served in a crushed graham cracker-rimmed glass and topped with a snowman Peep -- where'd they find those this time of year?), "Creamy Candy Cane" (Vox vodka blended with Creme de Menthe and a splash of cream garnished with a fun red sugar rim and a mini candy cane) and an egg nog cocktail spiked with Vox vodka and DeKuyper Vanilla liqueur.

And, what's the holiday season without food (and lots of it)? Indulge in Kit Kat's Christmas in July prix-fixe menu ($30), which includes hearty dishes like roasted kabocha squash soup with maple foam, a mushroom-and-caramelized onion tart, a choice of roasted turkey with green bean casserole and pomme puree or pumpkin ravioli with a cinnamon cream sauce and fried sage, and poached pear Napoleon with DeKuyper Pear cream for dessert. You'll also get to choose one martini from Kit Kat's extensive list to pair with your festive feast, because it's just not the holidays without the booze, as well.
