Trade football for fondue at Geja's on Super Bowl Sunday.

The Super Bowl is not your thing. You don't like sub sandwiches, chili, beer, or any combination of the three, and it doesn't make it any better when you don't even know what teams are playing (Who IS playing, anyway? Once the Bears were no longer in the running, we frankly stopped paying attention).

In all seriousness, if you're not all about watching the Super Bowl and its commercials which may or may not be funny, drag your significant other to a romantic dinner at Lincoln Park's Geja's Café, 340 W. Armitage.  On both Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 1 AND Monday, Feb. 2, when everyone else is nursing a hangover, all diners who purchase one premier dinner get a second premier dinner of equal or lesser value free.  All premier dinners ($27.95-48.95) include the legendary cheese-fondue appetizer, Geja's salad, an assortment of fresh vegetables, eight dipping sauces, flaming chocolate dessert fondue and Geja's freshly ground coffee. Let's be honest – how much tastier does gruyere cheese fondue sound than Velveeta dip?  Yeah, that's what we thought.  For reservations, call 773-281-9101 or visit www.gejascafe.com
