A beret would be a good, albeit obvious fashion statement at the Paris in Chicago party.

Paris has the Champs-Elysees -- Chicago has the Mag Mile. Paris has the Eiffel Tower, while Chicago makes do with the Big Willie.

The similarities are endless, so it only makes sense to celebrate the end of summer in the Chi with the "Paris in Chicago Patio Party."

It all goes down Thursday at Bistro 110 (110 E Pearson St). Between 5:30-8:30 p.m., the restaurant is inviting its guests to raise a glass to summer on their new outdoor space, which will be decked out in French décor.

You can nosh on gratis specialty pizzas, but the piece de resistance may be the Bistro Baguettes from the new La Baquette Menu. You can also sip on $5 wines and the specialty French Heaven cocktail, all served by a belle French model.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity for a bon vivant like yourself to bid summer adieu.
