The city of Chicago is on a crazy winning streak. One of our own is the president. We're a good bet for the 2016 Summer Olympics. And Pat "Deep Dish" Bertoletti has made us proud once again, taking the Stroehmann Sandwich Slamm title.

It's Bertoletti's fourth corned beef eating contest win in a row.

The corned beef eating contest is traditionally held in NYC around St. Patrick's Day. Bertoletti beat 10 top-ranked competitive eaters, including the Japanese legend Takeru Kobayashi and the favorite, Joey "Jaws" Chestnut, who stunned the world by beating Kobayashi at the July 4th hot dog eating contest.

Bertoletti, a chef at Chef Freddy's Catering and a Kendall College graduate, once ate 22 pounds of grits in 10 minutes.

He won a $5,000 cash prize for out-eating the competition.
