Crossroads restaurant was thinking big when it went looking for someone to revamp its menu.

Celebrity chef Aaron Sanchez was brought in to inject some new flavor into the House of Blues eater.

Sanchez, the co-host of the Food Network series Chefs vs. City, added some signature items to the menu like shrimp and grits, meatball sliders, braised short ribs and lobster mac and cheese.

He calls is American classics reimagined.

"That's the kind of food I like to focus on. Big flavor and something that's accessible to a large audience," Sanchez says.

For example, his take on shrimp and grits starts with a fried grit patty, topped with heavy cream and mixed with red and yellow tomatoes and a secret chipotle sauce.

The new menu will be available at all House of Blues locations across the country.
