Allium Restaurant Pop-Up Dinner
Moshpix: A lucky handful of Chicagoans got a sneak peak of the Four Seasons' soon-to-open Allium restaurant via a pop-up dinner hosted by executive chef Kevin Hickey (pictured). The 50 guests sampled more than 20 dishes in a family style setting at Tenzing Wines’ West Loop venue. Hickey served up course after course of seasonal dishes showcasing sustainable, local ingredients, which is what you can expect when the restaurant opens in mid-February. Crowd favorites included Duck Cake (a spin on a crab cake), Lion’s Paw Scallops with watercress risotto, Kale & Warm Sweet Potato Salad with fregola and hickory nuts, Crispy Brussels Sprouts with kielbasa, Cheese Curd Mashed Potatoes and Bacon Bread.
