We're all feeling the economic crunch this year, but you can still host a holiday party for friends, family or co-workers without going all AIG (our new reference for anything obscenely over-the-top). Lakeview's charming Angelina Ristorante is offering an affordable holiday party option complete with a family-style dinner and three glasses of wine per person (which is plenty if you recall how you spent the last office holiday party -- but let's not talk about that).
For $35 per person, you'll get a five-course menu, featuring soup of the day, a choice of appetizer (antipasti platter, sauteed calamari or a salad), pasta (tomato basil sauce and mozzarella, fusilli with chicken, rigatoni Bolognese or vegetable lasagna), entree (chicken marsala or picatta, baked whitefish or pork saltimboca) and an assortment of desserts (tiramisu, white chocolate bread pudding and creme brulee for everyone to share). And those aforementioned glasses of wine? Choose from Ruffino chianti and Pomelo sauvignon blanc.
