Don't claim to know 13-year-old Tavi Gevinson until you've walked a mile in her fashionable pumps.
And now she speaks.
Precocious Oak Park teen blogger Tavi Gevinson will be the featured guest Friday on The Interview Show at The Hideout.
The weekly show, hosted by syndicated columnist Mark Bazer, features well-known guests from every walk of life in a live interview format in front of a live audience.
Gevinson, 14, is the author of The Style Rookie blog and became a bit of a polarizing figure in the industry for everything from her front-row placements at New York Fashion week shows and her oversized hats.
But despite the level of fame she's achieved for blogging out of the bedroom in her parent's house, Gevinson's been shrewd about who she'll grant interviews to, reportedly turning down both Oprah and The Tonight Show.
Which makes Friday's appearance even more of a "get."
