The VIP premiere party give shopaholics a chance to commiserate with some like-minded souls.

Do have a closet strictly for your shoe collection? How many items of clothing still have tags on them and may never be worn? Have you ever bought an item only to discover that you have the exact same thing in your closet? If any of this sounds familiar, you may be a shopaholic.

But don't worry, you're not alone. On Feb. 13 from 5:30 - 7:30, the W Chicago-Lakeshore is throwing a VIP premiere party for the movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Attendees will get the chance to confess their own shopaholic story for a chance to win a ShopWalk guided shopping tour, including personal styling and discounts for the winner and their best friends.

Cocktails such as Shopaholic Martinis will be served, along with the opportunity to browse items from Chicago designers and boutiques such as Vika, Michelle Tan, Orlando Espinoza, Claudia Kleiner, 1154 LIll and Veruca Salt.

The ladies (or men?) will then head over to the AMC River East for a viewing of "Confessions of a Shopaholic." The first 60 guests will receive a complimentary ride on a shopping trolley to the theatre.

Tickets are $25 in advance. RSVP to www.Chicagoshopwalk.com/events.
