Parisian Designer Hosts Fashion Fete at Barneys

Guillaume Henry and Simon Doonan host shopping bash

For women, there’s usually always a legitimate excuse to celebrate the art of shopping. So when Parisian designer Guillaume Henry announced he would be flying from the city of lights to Chicago to preview his Spring collection, we polished up our stilettos in honor of the occasion.

Henry, who re-launched designer label Carven as a contemporary ready-to-wear collection only two seasons ago, has turned the label into a Chicago-friendly,  edgy look with a take on youthful Parisian elegance.
Henry will make a stop at the Chicago Barneys on February 7 to introduce the new collection and the event is open to the public.
Simon Doonan will also be on hand to host the event. It kicks off with a trunk show that will take place on from 12-6 pm before Henry and Doonan get the party started in the evening with an event from 4-6pm.
