Ladies, you know the holiday party season is upon us and you know you need to look gorgeous. But where should you go shopping for that perfect dress? If you're looking for the best selection of the season's hottest trends, then head over to Cusp at Water Tower Place or Northbrook Court.

Cusp, owned by Neiman Marcus, is targeted to the crowd that would prefer to skip the department store experience in favor of a more intimate, trendy and eclectic boutique.

It has the feel of, let's say, Intermix, with labels like Philip Lim, Robert Rodriguez, Alice and Olivia, Elizabeth and James.

Though it carries a surprisingly hip assortment of shoes, jewelry and bags that don't bring to mind the prices of the parent company, you can still use your Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman charge to pay for it all.

The Water Tower store opened two weeks ago, with perfect party dresses from Prairie, Nanette Lepore, Madison Marcus, Rag and Bone, Vera Wang Lavender Label and Milly.

You just need the right person to tell you where to look!
