We’re willing to bet that fashion designer Maria Pinto will vote Democrat in November. Obamania threw the Chicago native into the limelight  when Michelle wore a Pinto dress the night her hubby claimed the nomination, again at the DNC, and told the ladies of The View that Pinto is one of her fave designers.

Riding the wave, the Italian-American designer just opened her one and only retail boutique in the West Loop at 135 N. Jefferson Street. More than 300 fashionistas attended the August opening. She also showed off her latest looks at Fashion Focus’s 2008 Allure of Couture runway show on October 6th.

Maybe we should give Hillary and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pantsuits her number?
