GQ Goes Blue in the Chi

Actor Jeffery Wright Sports Navy Suits in Magazine

Chicago has been getting a lot of attention lately on the international scene, and "most" of it has been positive (thanks Blago).

GQ magazine took notice and named Chicago "City of the Year" in its December issue, listing four reasons why the city is No. 1 in 2008.

The Chicago theme continues in the January issue, with a fashion feature called "Deep Blue State" with actor Jeffrey Wright, shot entirely on the streets of Chicago.

Wright, who plays Muddy Waters in the new film Cadillac Records (based on Chicago's Chess Records), sports navy blue suits in the fashion spread.

The pictures were taken at such famous locations as Millenium Park, Billy Goat Tavern, an El train stop, Marina Towers and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
