It seemed like just yesterday we were taking our seats in front of the runway for fall fashion 2010, but another year (and round of trends) has already passed us by.
And now it's time to get ready for Chicago Fashion Focus, a week-long celebration of Chicago’s thriving fashion industry that will make a stylish return for the seventh year in a row.
From October 17-23, the industry event will play host to dozes of happenings featuring the city’s top designers, from exclusive, ticketed runway shows to free shopping events taking place in Millennium Park and throughout the city.
The week-long event will feature four headlining shows this year directed by the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture, including the Chicago Fashion Incubator presented by Macy’s, the Conscious Planet Media's 3rd Annual Vert Couture eco-fashion show, StyleChicago.com's The Art of Fashion 2011 and InspireDESIGN presented by Mario Tricoci and Vitamin Water.
Each headlining event for Fashion Focus Chicago has a $35 general admission ticket price. with fashion shows beginning at 7:30 p.m., but if you don’t want to splurge on a ticket for one of the shows, fear not -- you can still get your fashionable fix. Just visit the Chicago Office of Tourism’s web site for a full list of both ticketed and free events.
