    In case you haven’t noticed, it's getting hot outside.

    For the ladies, that means less clothing (always a bonus for the dudes around town), and finding ways of getting the hair off your overheated neck. Like asap please.

    Good thing braids are being spotted all over the runway (and on major celebs) this season, meaning we now have have permission to pull one off without looking like a third grader.

    But we're not talking about the boring, overdone and often sloppy ponytail, it's all about the textured twist.

    Learn how to do it right at Luxe Salon and Spa's "Bust A Braid" class Thursday.

    Co-owners Elizabeth King and Ella Federovich will literally bust out their 15 years of experience with some simple “hairapy” skills. The fishtail? You’ll learn it. Braid basics? They’ve got it covered. Oh, and did we mention the most important part? The event comes with cocktails.

    And last time we checked, there's no law against drinking and braiding, unless you count the fashion police.
