Akira, one of Chicago's most popular and successful retail clothing stores, will unveil its spring clothing line this weekend with one of the spectacular fashion shows they've become known for.
The show, entitled "Casablanca: Virtue. Love. Résistance," takes place Sunday at what they're calling a "veiled location" -- 114 S. Racine Street.
FORD models will don the ready-to-wear sleek looks reminiscent of Humphrey Bogart's suave, tailored-style. Brands include AKIRA, Steve Madden, 7 Diamonds, Ben Sherman, Bjorn Borg, Dorsia and Paige Premium Denim.
Hit the after-party at the Victor Hotel (311 N. Sangamon) from 8 to 12 p.m.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the show starting promptly at 6:30.
