One of the most powerful ways to express yourself is through the way you dress. And one of the best clothing items to express yourself is a t-shirt.
It's a tricky thing. If you go out on a limb in trying to communicate something through a picture or lettering on your shirt, you run the risk of it being misinterpreted, and sending the wrong message. You want it to be clever, without being overt.
That's what's so cool about the Reflect clothing line. Reflect offers t-shirts that they've dubbed "Transformational Clothing."
The shirts are simple -- black with white text -- but you get to choose whatever phrase you want. The company offers dozens of choices in categories such as Health, Self-Confidence and Life, or you can request your own. Suggested phrases include the life-affirming "I live my life with passion" to the utterly cheesy "Money comes to me easily and effortlessly."
Here's the really cool part. The letters are printed backwards, so you -- or someone else -- has to concentrate really hard, or look in the mirror to read what it actually says. And you've also managed to send a subliminal message about who you are and what you're all about.
Best of all, you've accomplished your t-shirt goal. Your shirt has something interesting to say and it may even become a positive talking point. After that, you're on your own, buddy.
