It could be argued that Chicago has decided to forgo spring and jump straight to summer, but history shows that there will still be plenty of opportunities to rock those spring duds.
That's where AKIRA comes in, with its third annual spring fashion show, Valley of the Castles, at the Civic Opera House on March 21st.
The show, always one of the most popular events for the Chicago retailer, will showcase looks from brands such as Original Penguin, Ben Sherman and its own AKIRA Black Label.
The facility's main hall will be transformed into a 12th Century Luxembourgian garden for the themed show, complementing the pastels and double-breasted blazers on the models.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 for general admission and $100 VIP.
