If you or someone you know is thinking about running the Chicago Women's Half Marathon this summer, you’re in luck if you need help and motivation.
The 12-week program will begin the week of April 9. For $220, participants get to try out two private Equinox group fitness classes per week for the 12 week program, created specifically for half marathon training (you do not have to be an Equinox member to take part).
The 3-month long special also includes a special run coaching program created by Fleet feet experts, special strength and cross training coaching from Equinox running expert Kai Karlstrom, two body composition assessments and exclusive offers for treatments at The Spa @ Equinox.
The program is open to both running experts who want to improve last year’s time, and newbies who are novice runners.
The class meets every Wednesday at 7:15pm at Equinox Lincoln Park or Equinox Loop for a private class developed specifically for half marathon training. The second weekly class can be scheduled on your own time at any Equinox Chicago location.
