    "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"
Ellen DeGeneres' show is holding a secret contest in Philly.

Ellen Degeneres was up to her usual antics with jokes and laughs in Chicago, as she brought her "Somewhat Special Special" to the Chicago Theatre on Wednesday.

The standup star is one of the headliners for TBS' Just for Laughs festival.

"I love what TBS does, every year I get to come back to Chicago and do this," Ellen says, "It's a lot of fun."

Comedienne and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres makes a surprise stop on the NBC 5 News to promote her "Somewhat Special Special," and has a little fun along the way.

From talk show host to American Idol judge Ellen has a lot on her plate.  She claims to have several look-a-likes to help her get it all done.

"I'm not as pretty as that girl on CoverGirl," Ellen said.  "I wish I was that pretty, [but] no that's not me."

All jokes aside, it's the real Ellen fronting the variety show, complete with a magician, an acrobatic troupe and performers from a popular web video.

And there was a visit by a certain local hockey team and a trophy they recently won.

Earlier this week, Ellen crashed an NBC Chicago newscast with a fun filled weather report.

"You don't know what a low front feels like," Ellen jokes, "until you're right there with a low front coming up right to your high front."

Just For Laughs will be in Chicago through Saturday night.  Ellen's special will begin airing on TBS on Sunday, June 27.
