Take your workout outdoors.

Working out in a gym? That sounds so boring -- especially when you can be working out on a rooftop instead.

This summer, the Palomar Hotel lets you get a tan while working up a sweat with their new rooftop workout class.

The hotel is partnering up with popular barre workout studio Barre Bee Fit to offer everyone (not just hotel guests) a total body workout combining dance, Pilates, yoga and light weights for a 60-minute fast-buster on the roof of the hotel.

The class will be offered Wednesday mornings at 6:30 am, so we hope you’re an early riser..

And for those who are staying at the hotel, Palomar is offering up some additional ways to torch calories through their in-room On Demand exercises and light menu options whipped together by health and nutrition expert (and Today Show contributor) Joy Bauer.

Just don't forget the SPF -- Chicago sun can be a scorcher. For more information, contact the Palomar.
